أعلنت أكاديمية فنون وعلوم الصور المتحركة عن القوائم القصيرة لجوائز الأوسكار 2026 في 12 فئة، تمهيدًا لاختيار الترشيحات الرسمية للدورة الثامنة والتسعين من الجوائز.
وشمل الإعلان الأفلام المتنافسة في فئات: أفضل فيلم وثائقي طويل، أفضل فيلم دولي، أفضل أغنية أصلية، أفضل موسيقى تصويرية، أفضل مؤثرات بصرية، أفضل تصوير سينمائي، أفضل صوت، أفضل مكياج وتصفيف شعر، إلى جانب فئة أفضل اختيار ممثلين (Casting) التي تُمنح للمرة الأولى. كما تضمنت القوائم فئات الأفلام القصيرة الثلاث: الرسوم المتحركة، الروائي القصير، والوثائقي القصير.
ومن المقرر الإعلان عن الترشيحات النهائية لجوائز الأوسكار يوم الخميس 22 يناير 2026، على أن يُقام حفل توزيع الجوائز يوم الأحد 15 مارس 2026 في هوليوود، ويقدمه كونان أوبراين. وتُجرى عملية التصويت على الترشيحات خلال الفترة من 12 إلى 16 يناير 2026.
